The world is on the cusp of an epoch known as Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). Despite much-publicised promise enhanced productivity, flexibility, efficiency and improved quality, Industry 4.0 a daunting prospect for less-developed nations without human labour to cope with embrace anticipated technological advancement. paper explores various opportunities challenges associated entrepreneurship in developing countries ascertain their readiness. An in-depth, systematic literature review was conducted. In doing that, we were mindful coverage, data collection carried out through rigorous process ensure accuracy findings while keeping study's objective. This argues entrepreneurs rethink initiate development strategies that would make them relevant future, innovation business models, preparation possible disruptions evolution 4.0, also advocating more should be done address causes policy institutional failures.
